My Technology Expertise

I work with AWS and Microsoft Azure to design and manage cloud solutions, from setting up secure networks and access controls to optimizing costs and building systems that scale with business needs. In security, I use Cisco and Fortinet technologies to configure firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention, while also managing networks with Cisco Meraki and running servers on Linux for reliable, secure operations.


On the development side, I build modern web applications using React, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, TypeScript, and Python. I often create dashboards that show business analytics, automate repetitive work, and generate detailed reports, extending them with Power BI for advanced data visualization. I also develop mobile applications using Flutter and Swift, and create games with Godot.

For automation and DevOps, I use Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to containerize applications, manage workloads, and define infrastructure as code. I also design workflows with n8n and Make.com to integrate systems and replace hours of manual effort with efficient automation. I leverage Supabase for backend-as-a-service solutions and Zoho for comprehensive business applications.

My development environment includes Visual Studio Code with GitHub Copilot for enhanced productivity, and I use Postman for API testing and development. I have also deployed and configured collaboration platforms like Webex, Imagicle, and Microsoft Teams, helping organizations improve communication and integrate secure telephony solutions.

👋 Hi, I'm Héctor Prado — a Cloud & Security Engineer and Full-Stack Developer passionate about building solutions that are secure, efficient, and practical for businesses.

I hold a B.Eng. in ICT Engineering from the University of Curaçao and certifications in Cisco CCNA, Fortinet Cybersecurity, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and Azure SC-100. My expertise covers cloud computing, networking, DevOps, and software development.
